Darrin Foster was born in Carleton County and raised in Fredericton. He served as Class President of Fredericton High School and attended UNB where he majored in English Literature and Medieval History.

He then moved to Vancouver, B.C. where he spent 9 years before moving up to the resort town of Whistler. Workin in the service and hospitality industry, he honed his customer service skills and developed United Nations level diplomacy at some of the best restaurants and hotels the world offers.
Returning home to New Brunswick he entered real estate.
